Forgiveness

The last month has been full of challenges for many of us.  We have been faced head on with situations that we have not only challenged by but also may have felt overwhelming.  How we handle these challenges is important because it creates within us an energy for future situations.

Take a look at the situations that have occurred and ask yourself "Is it easier to hold on to the negativity of my experience or to understand it and thank God for allowing me to grow from it."  It has been clear to me that I have experienced several situations in the past few months in which I have been faced with a choice to forgive or to let resentment and anger eat me up.  The message that I have received is that it takes less energy to forgive than to hold on to the negativity.

Remember, anything connected to negative feelings is connected to fear and anything void of fear is connected to love.  So as you are reflecting on what has happened to you try and step out of the "victim" role and look at yourself as a student.

See yourself as a student of life and become a teacher to those around you who might also be your teachers.  These people are Karmically doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing so that you can move ahead closer to why you are on this earth plane.

You are here to experience love, to know that you are part of God.  So, as you forgive these people and situations also know that not only are you bringing yourself closer to your purpose but also helping those around you do the same.  May peace be with you during your path to learning and growing towards truth?
